He checked off his #1 bucket list item that year watching the Cardinals win it all in one of the greatest World Series' in history.

Gary grew up in Illinois, moved to North Carolina for five years, and has since returned home to spend more time with his family. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Journalism and spent 11 years in Radio Sportscasting, garnering many awards, including Best Play-by-Play Broadcaster for the state of Illinois. After accomplishing his goals in Radio, he left that career to pursue his passion for writing. He is in the process of publishing his debut novel- The Bottom Drops Out, while writing a second novel titled- A Burden To Bear. He is editing a novella titled- Covid Crossings and a poetry book titled- Sanity in the Chaos. He has published a short story collection called Dreamland.

Gary spends most of his free time playing disc golf and connecting with nature. His #1 goal in life- outside of inspiring people through his projects- is to play disc golf in all 50 states. He's over halfway there.
